How does it work?
Dermapen creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, activating the skin's natural repair response and stimulating collagen production.
During treatment, a professional MG serum is selected for your individual skin concerns and applied as part of your personalised treatment. As collagen production and skin renewal are stimulated, the skin becomes smoother, firmer and more even in appearance.

How many treatments will I need?
This depends on your skin and what we are treating.
For general skin rejuvenation, a course of approximately 3 treatments is often recommended. More established concerns, such as acne scarring or deeper texture changes, may require additional sessions.
Treatments are generally spaced around 4 weeks apart.
Your recommended treatment plan will be personalised to your skin and goals.
What should I expect after a treatment?
Redness, warmth and mild sensitivity are normal after microneedling and generally settle within 24–48 hours.
You may also experience mild swelling, tightness, dryness or light flaking as the skin recovers.
Results develop progressively as collagen production and skin renewal continue. Improvements in texture, firmness and overall skin quality continue to develop in the weeks following treatment, with cumulative results across a treatment course.
Is Microneedling painful?
Most clients tolerate microneedling well.
Numbing cream is available on request for an additional $30 and can be arranged prior to treatment.
Is there downtime?
Downtime is generally minimal. Redness and sensitivity are most common during the first 24–48 hours, while mild dryness or flaking may last for several days.
It may also be appropriate for some people experiencing genetic or hormonal thinning, including hair changes associated with menopause.
Because hair loss responds differently for each person, a Hair Restoration Consultation is required before your first treatment.
